Spotlessly clean hotel with a very modern stylish vibe to it. The room was spacious and again modern, huge walk in shower and comfy beds. The maids do an excellent job daily.Free wifi and electronic safe also excellent aircon system that kicks in quickly. We was in a private sunbed/veranda room 218 and was lucky enough to have the sun on this side from 1pm till sunset which was ideal if on a trip or at the beach to come back to id recommend this rather than the balcony rooms (we was lucky enough to have a very cheap upgrade with tui when booking for this) The food here is excellent probably the best ive experienced, themed nights Gala/american/mexican/asian/greek/italian and mediterranean. The breakfasts are good as is dinner also a snackbar outside during dinner if wanting to stay poolside. The walk to Kos town is fine and is around 15-20 minutes with plenty of bars/resturants/shops on the way. Plenty of sunbeds till around 9.30-10ish though if youre an early bird and like to make the most of the sun youll get the pick of the lot after breakfast at 7.30. Guests are mainly British/German/Dutch. All in all we had a great weeks stay and for what we paid to what this hotel offers it was a great deal. Im not sure if wed return as we prefer a hotel which is on the beach and prefer other parts of the island like kardamena though this hotel is pretty much faultless and id recommend anyone to visit. The deserts are 5⭐️ 😋!!!

Ok..its nice but not if you are expecting some sort of entertainment ( NOTHING AT ALL ). Transferring to the centre is good. Bus stop not far, if you like to bike ride..perfect place ( haven't for along time ).. Hotel..still needs a lot of work done to entertain everyone from all ages. If not than they need to state it in their profile on this. Its a lovely place to just relax and socialise. But if u come, be prepared to spend outside and travel... Nothing to do inside, no snooker/pool table or game area, for us slightly older group. But hey, enjoy.

Beautiful hotel, tasteful, modern and clean. Kept up to high standards. The Apollon feels like an adults only hotel (only a couple of quiet children during our stay) with an chilled and relaxed vibe. The pool area is nice. Might struggle to get sun loungers when it's busier but we always managed to find one. The room was very nice - we had a large room with a small terrace looking out onto the pool. Beds were comfortable. I was a bit cold on the first night so asked for a thicker blanket. I got it straight away and slept comfortably for the rest of the week. My only slight issue with the rooms is the use of the frosted glass bathroom doors - seems to be a common design in hotels now. The staff really are the stars. Alona on reception was outstanding - she was super informative, helped to book our excursions, and so pleasant to chat with. Poppy is another amazing asset to the hotel. The staff cannot be faulted, including lovely housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff. As a picky eater, the all inclusive food was ok and I always found something to eat. For the non-picky, there is plenty of good quality food available every day. Evening meals are themed. I would say there is too much pork served (even my partner who likes pork was tired of it by the end of the week!). Sometimes the food is not labelled and it can be difficult to know what is in certain dishes as there is no specific information given - may be difficult for those with dietary requirements. The bar was good and I enjoyed the all inclusive cocktails. There is no entertainment on an evening, which could be an improvement. Kos Town is a 15-20 minute walk away if looking for things to do at night and during the day. The gym is a typical hotel gym. It costs hourly per person and must be reserved. For any gym goers I would recommend the better equipped gym 2 minutes further up the street towards Kos Town. Overall, we had an amazing time and I would absolutely recommend the Apollon to anyone looking for a high quality, relaxing hotel. I would happily stay here again if I was coming back to Kos.

From where to start and where to end... I don't usually make reviews unless it's a good one but i felt that i must protect you. We went to this hotel Apollon at Lambi area in Kos for a youth soccer festival... We where happy waiting for this experience but the hotel facilities and the very rude manager made us feel very quickly that we should never came as they where trying to rob us from day one. Firstly the room was very medium quality. we didn't had hot water and we couldn't turn the heat on to the AC at nights so we couldn't sleep easy from the cold temperatures. we asked for blankets but they never brought. The lights on the entire hotel where flickering and we had balckouts. Nextday i went to the bar to ask for a glass of whiskey and they wanted to serve me in a plastic very dirty glass that when you see it you wanted to vomit.. snd they refused to put it in glass one..The buffet was medium to bad and all the food that was mostly wanted (pork chops or pork belly etc) was always insufficient. at day third we ordered 2 gins with tonic and they charged us 36 euros for the both!!! overall you had the feeling that because you came with kids for this specific reason ( youth soccer festival) they just wanted you to leave.. you know am a guy that tries to see things in an optimistic way and all i was thinking the kids had a good time so it's ok..But the thing that annoyed me the most was on the last day... we had to check out at 11 o'clock so we did. The night before we spoke with the manager if it was ok to eat for lunch because our departure was in the afternoon and they said of course ok no problem.. so we went out in the city and came around 2 o'clock to eat just before our bus come to leave. in our suprise they wanted to charge us 10 euros per person ( we remained only 4 adults and 7 kids but only the adults where gonna eat). when we told them that they said something different the manager said it was a misunderstanding and it's a good offer the 10 euros per person making us feel that it was money the problem... Dear manager Mr. Stelios i assure you that money is the last thing that i cared about.. i will never come and remember Kos as a bad experience. you are the reason why a medium thing stays medium . thank you for making Kos a never again visit... and thank you for reminding me that small things make the difference.
